Science of Sedona: Electrical engineer explores magnetic energy ‘vortexes’

By Steve Hammons

For many years, stories and reports about the Sedona, Arizona, region have included claims of “vortexes” or energy streams and fields that affect people and the environment there in various ways.

Many people claim they experience unusual and sometimes beneficial effects on their mental, emotional, spiritual and physical states when exposed to these energies.

But these reports have been anecdotal and experiential. That is, people have reported interesting personal experiences, but there was little scientific evidence to support or explain such statements.

Phoenix-based electrical engineer Benjamin Lonetree has examined these claims using various scientific instruments and methods for more than a decade. He concludes that there are measurable outflows and inflows of magnetic energy in the Sedona area that do affect the environment of the region, including human consciousness.

As has been reported by others, Lonetree agrees that the Sedona area’s geology is a key factor. High content of iron oxide (causing the red rock and soil there) combined with substantial quartz deposits in the area seem to play important roles in this phenomena, he says.

EARTH ENERGIES, HUMAN CONSCIOUSNESS

Lonetree also has attempted to correlate connections between magnetic energy activities in the Sedona area and human consciousness.

By measuring human brainwaves of people (including himself) in the vortex areas using a portable EEG device, and matching that data with real-time measurements of environmental magnetic energies using a magnetometer, Lonetree says there appear to be clear relationships between the vortex energy and human brainwaves.

Since the human body (and that of many other mammals) contains magnetically-sensitive magnetite, there is a logical mainstream explanation for some of the possible effects on people from Sedona’s magnetic energies, Lonetree explains.

The composition of the geology in the Sedona area includes the high iron oxide in the sandstone and limestone, in combination with volcanic basalt embedded with high quantities of quartz (referred to as latites which contain 5 percent to 20 percent quartz).

Lonetree and others theorize that the Earth’s magnetic energy is being significantly affected by this geology.

In his research, Lonetree notes that a U.S. Geological Survey (USGS) report about an aerial survey of the Sedona region found magnetic anomalies throughout the entire area. On his website he includes the following three excerpts from the USGS report:

- "The Precambrian crystalline basement is the most likely source of the broad magnetic high in the Sedona area. The long-wavelength nature of the magnetic high indicates that the source of the anomaly is buried."

- "The latites, on the other hand, often are extruded from volcanic plugs and thus tend to produce intense, somewhat 'circular' magnetic anomalies (often as magnetic lows, because the latites are generally reversely polarized)."

- "Geologic structures (such as faults or igneous intrusions) often produce small magnetic fields that 'distort' the main magnetic field of the Earth."

In addition, the quartz crystals themselves also emit magnetic forces, Lonetree states. So, there may be combinations of sources for, and effects of the magnetic fields in the Sedona area, he indicates.

TRANSMITTERS AND RECEIVERS

How do these magnetic forces, fields and flows affect humans? Do they simply affect the magnetite in our bodies? Or, are there more profound connections too?

Lonetree speculates that there could be effects that we do not yet fully understand.

The layers and combinations of natural minerals and other factors could result in the region having characteristics similar to a type of natural transistor, transmitter or receiver of some kind, Lonetree points out.

Additionally, he notes that there are ancient volcanic lava shafts or tubes with distinct mineral composition in the region. These may provide channels for the geomagnetic energy being emitted from within the Earth resulting in a spinning or vortex form of energy.

That outflow of magnetic energy then returns to Earth nearby as an inflow vortex, Lonetree says. These outflows and inflows may affect humans in different ways.

And what about the idea put forth by many that Sedona may actually be connected to other dimensions through unique combinations of Earth energies and other natural forces? Could that explain the many other reports over the decades about unusual sightings, encounters and experiences in the Sedona area?

Lonetree does agree with what a Navajo man once told him … that Sedona is a place where Mother Earth speaks to us. Lonetree’s research has proven to him that this viewpoint is scientifically valid.

Sedona may truly be a unique place where our connectedness to this planet, Nature and ourselves is especially strong and clear.

Are we ready for more UFO and other disclosure? Yes and no

By Steve Hammons

It’s a question on the minds of many people and has been for several decades now: Can the American and international public deal with information about visitors from other planets and maybe other dimensions?

It probably depends on who you ask. It also may depend on how much and what kind of information we are talking about.

We don’t need to look very far to see that some people apparently prefer to be in total denial about visitors from elsewhere. For example, even when presented with solid evidence and strong indications that advanced spacecraft (not ours) are flying in our skies, many people choose not to face facts.

However, maybe that’s understandable.

There have been decades of efforts to label people as kooks and nuts if they are interested in UFOs, extraterrestrials and other kinds of unconventional topics.

Some people certainly can be mentally unsound in various ways. Yet, reasonable interest and normal curiosity about UFOs, visitors from elsewhere and other subjects are probably healthy and can indicate that a person is thinking logically and intelligently.

SAFETY AND INTELLIGENCE

Actually, it seems like common sense. In the case of UFOs, objects in the sky (sometimes at low altitudes) and on the ground have been clearly seen and reported by highly-reliable witnesses. These objects, some appearing to be advanced spacecraft, have appeared on radar.

It seems somewhat kooky to pretend that these things do not exist.

These kinds of apparent spacecraft have reportedly been on the radar of our defense communities both literally and in terms of possible or probable national security issues.

One of these national security issues may be how information about the situation might affect our people in the U.S. and around the world. So, it’s not just a national security matter, it’s a global security situation.

As such, it’s serious business. And serious security measures have allegedly been implemented over the years. “Need-to-know” protocols, “operational security (OPSEC)” and other concepts used in defense activities reportedly may have played important parts in keeping certain information secret.

At the same time, according to some claims, efforts were made to start getting the American and international public ready for more information about this situation.

But how much information should the public know? What kind of information should be released? And how should such information be presented? This is where we get into details that could be interesting and hopeful, or scary and worrisome. Or, maybe all of the above.

DISCOVERIES AND UNDERSTANDING

If some visitors are friendly and want to help us, great. And what if some are hostile or just don’t have our best interests at heart, but have their own agendas and priorities? What if some of these different kinds of visitors don’t get along among themselves?

Are there conflicts, battles, cold wars or hot wars and spy operations going on behind the scenes, or in our future? Are extraterrestrials or other unconventional beings among us?

Maybe some of these visitors are basically human like we are. And what if some of them are so different-looking and different-behaving that we have a hard time dealing with those elements of the situation?

Some related developments and discoveries could be so unconventional or far out that we might naturally have trouble wrapping our minds around them. These include wormholes and star gates, time travel, telepathy and ESP, other dimensions including what we call the afterlife or Heaven, angels and other kinds of beings that are not simply from another planet, forgotten ancient histories of the human race and Planet Earth, and other subjects that we can hardly imagine or understand.

How would we, or how will we deal with more solid information about these kinds of topics? Will we be fearful? Will we be disoriented and confused?

Or, will we handle increased information and understanding about these kinds of things fairly well and adjust to them in healthy ways?

As we consider all the many moving parts of the UFO situation, along with other discoveries, maybe we can see why certain information may have been held back from the general public.

And as more such information comes to light, we will probably need to continue to be aware of potential problems and dangers, while also trying to move forward and adjust to greater acceptance about the situation at hand.

Interest grows in healthy aging, anti-aging, reverse-aging, maybe transcendent aging

By Steve Hammons

Whether your age is 7, 17, 37 or 77, one thing is certain: your body is changing and aging.

Your bones, muscles, joints, organs, circulatory system, brain and neurological systems, and other parts of your body are going through changes of many kinds.

Maybe you are age 7 and would like to live to be a healthy 77 years old.

The ways in which we grow and age can be affected by factors like disease, injuries, nutrition, exercise, stress, happiness, family and many other elements we commonly associate with health and wellness. New research shows that our genetic make-up and the DNA within every cell of our body also affect how we grow and age.

Google’s recent announcement that it is starting a company called Calico that will focus on longevity and healthy aging seems to be an important development. This is because of the key roles that information, education and communication play when it comes to healthy aging and aging-management science, behavior, lifestyles, trends, innovations and discoveries of various kinds.

With many of the post-World War II “baby boomers” now in their 60s, and millions of other middle-aged and younger people in the pipeline, there is rapidly-growing interest in the emerging area of healthy aging, anti-aging and reverse-aging.

IT’S NATURAL

Some of the work being done in the field of anti-aging or aging-management, such as genetic studies and pharmaceutical research, is high-tech science. Other aspects of overall health and aging, such as smart exercise and healthy eating, are more like common sense.

Preventing disease and avoiding accident injuries when possible are also steps that can be important for healthy aging. We might benefit by using “situation awareness” about disease prevention, health and wellness, as well as accident-injury prevention and safety.

Certain vitamins, minerals, forms of protein, various nutritional supplements and herbs are often discussed in terms of healthy aging. There has been significant research conducted on many of these nutritional support supplements and some are clearly associated with healthy aging and anti-aging.

Most of us have heard about menopause, the change-of-life phase for women that occurs around age 50. But how many of us are familiar with “andropause,” the parallel phase for males?

Andropause reportedly occurs more gradually and does not have some of the same dramatic markers as menopause in females, such as the end of menstrual periods and ability to get pregnant, sudden hormone changes, hot flashes and other challenging symptoms.

Andropause treatment for males is now growing significantly. Not only is public awareness increasing, but medical approaches such as testosterone replacement therapy (which often includes managing estrogen) for middle-aged males are also expanding. Specialty medical practices and clinics focusing on testosterone replacement therapy are now found in many major cities. Testosterone replacement therapy dovetails with other anti-aging research.

TRANSCENDENT WARFARE

Some years ago, a Navy SEAL officer doing graduate-level studies at a defense university coined the term “transcendent warfare” in his research paper to describe recognizing, learning about and using leading-edge discoveries and perspectives that emerged from the program generally known as Project STAR GATE.

He was referring to a research program related to human consciousness, sponsored by various elements of the defense and intelligence communities in the 1970s, ‘80s and ‘90s.

When it comes to healthy aging, it seems helpful to look at the concept of transcendent warfare as well as the research results from Project STAR GATE. That program explored the abilities of human consciousness and what we can accomplish with human consciousness.

That same path can be followed toward insights about healthy aging, anti-aging, reverse-aging and “transcendent aging.” Human consciousness is undoubtedly a key factor.

Mental attitude, happiness, family and romantic relationships, and stress management are also factors associated with aging. Other psychological and emotional traits that each of us have may contribute to healthy aging and anti-aging.

Our connections to the natural world could also play a role. Stress reduction includes environmental stress. Spending significant time in peaceful open country such as a forest, a lake or farmland just might be very therapeutic in terms of aging.

The same might be true about canoeing down a river or fishing at a lake or stream, enjoying the outdoors and wildlife, trees, sky, sun and clouds drifting overhead, as well as the moon and stars on a pleasant evening.

Transcendent aging may involve many elements that we are just now beginning to understand.

Area 51 confirmation prepares public for more UFO disclosure

By Steve Hammons

National and international media, mainstream and otherwise, had fun with the recent news that the CIA had officially admitted the existence of Area 51 in southern Nevada.

Headlines and news reports noted that although an element of the U.S. government confirmed that the Groom Lake base is real, there was no confirmation that extraterrestrial or other strange visitors, their spacecraft or “back-engineered,” unusually-advanced U.S.-built spacecraft were associated with the Area 51 facilities.

Despite the humorous treatment of this development in the media, the fact remains that significant indications point to decades-long research into UFOs and unusual visitors by the U.S. government and other credible researchers around the world. Some of the information about this vast body of research is public and some apparently remains secret.

If we knew more details, we might actually need this humor because the truth might be concerning, worrisome or downright scary. At the same time, there may be encouraging and uplifting new understanding that has emerged from official and unofficial research into this situation.

OPEN SECRETS

Did the Area 51 facilities once include research projects on alien spacecraft? If so, those activities are probably long-gone by now, moved to other locations following media reports years ago about such projects in the Groom Lake region.

It is logical that government defense and intelligence organizations would look into highly-unusual spacecraft that have been reported by many reliable witnesses, tracked on radar and sometimes left physical evidence on the ground. And once such investigations began, where would they lead?

How much do inside investigators know and understand? What remains unknown and mysterious?

There may also be reasonable concern that the general public might not be ready to hear all aspects of the situation. And, some factors in play may involve operational security (OPSEC) related to national and global defense. As a result, information about the UFO topic probably needs to be handled in intelligent ways by insiders, the circles of the defense and intelligence communities, the media and the public.

The confirmation that the Groom Lake aircraft development and test facilities at Area 51 are real comes as no surprise. It has been an open secret for many years. The same might be said about the UFO and visitor situation. In both cases, some information has been released, some remains in a semi-public gray area and some is closely-held and classified.

SITUATION AWARENESS

Secret activities associated with Area 51 such as development of advanced aircraft, and alleged secret activities there involving more unusual situations, might help us expand our awareness and understanding about what is happening, and what might be happening.

As our situation awareness evolves about UFOs, visitors and other leading-edge scientific developments, more interesting information could emerge.

Topics like teleportation, wormholes or star gates, other dimensions, other intelligent beings, purported cosmic fields of energy and light, and the nature of human consciousness are just some of the fascinating areas being looked at by serious and credible researchers.

For people who believe in the equally interesting possibility or probability of angels, Heaven and a higher intelligent being, integrating those ideas with UFOs and other edge-science developments might be challenging in some ways. How do all these puzzle pieces fit together? Is there some larger intelligence at work?

Today’s news is about the confirmation that Area 51 exists. What will next week’s news tell us about what else exists?

And what might we discover by ourselves that does not require being told it is so by the mainstream media and government officials?

Year of UFOs, 1952, may play role in Disney movie ‘Tomorrowland’

By Steve Hammons

The Disney movie currently under development, “Tomorrowland,” has been surrounded by a few mysteries.

“Tomorrowland” was originally titled “1952” and the story was rumored to be related to an old storage box found at the Disney studios. The box was labeled “1952” and contained photos, books and other items related to Walt Disney’s activities.

There was speculation that the movie could be about long-standing claims by Disney insiders that high-ranking U.S. officials approached Walt in the ‘50s to make a film about the realities of UFOs, intelligent visitors from elsewhere and related aspects of the situation.

Coincidentally, another old cardboard storage box was recently in the news in connection with UFOs, the Roswell incident and extraterrestrial visitation.

Chase Brandon, a 35-year veteran of the CIA and the agency’s liaison to Hollywood and the publishing world, went public with a claim that he found a storage box at CIA headquarters. Brandon stated that the contents of the box convinced him the Roswell case really did involve a crashed extraterrestrial spacecraft.

“Tomorrowland” writer Damon Lindelof, director Brad Bird and star George Clooney have not revealed details of the story publicly. Of course, some elements of the movie could still be evolving. More recent reports indicate that “Tomorrowland” may not be about UFOs and intelligent visitors at all.

YEAR OF UFO ACTIVITIES

However, the year 1952 does resonate when it comes to the UFO phenomena. Three major developments in 1952 reach into the heart of the UFO mystery: The formation of the Air Force’s Project BLUE BOOK, the Washington, D.C., UFO sightings and the alleged secret briefing of incoming President Dwight Eisenhower on UFOs.

After the 1947 reports of a crashed UFO near Roswell and years of UFO sightings and reports in the U.S., the Air Force started Project BLUE BOOK  in 1952, based at Wright-Patterson Air Force Base in southwestern Ohio. This project was the public face of U.S. government activities on UFOs.

Shortly after Project BLUE BOOK began, in July 1952 a major UFO incident occurred over Washington. Multiple UFOs were sighted by reliable witnesses on the ground and tracked by radar. Military jets were scrambled. A Project BLUE BOOK  team member was in Washington at the time.

Years later, alleged briefing documents for Eisenhower on UFOs surfaced in the public domain and were posted online. The documents were reportedly prepared by a high-level secret group and dated Nov. 18, 1952. Some researchers believe the documents are authentic or at least accurately reflect the situation at that time.

So it does seem that 1952 was an eventful year for activities by the U.S. government focused on learning more about UFOs. Are these developments related to the “Tomorrowland” movie?

Interestingly, Clooney was raised in the Cincinnati region, just a couple of hours drive south of Wright-Patterson Air Force Base at Dayton where Project BLUE BOOK was based.

And, the crashed spacecraft materials from Roswell, and possibly visitor bodies, were reportedly transported directly to Wright-Patt in the summer of 1947 immediately after retrieval in the New Mexico desert. The Air Force’s foreign technology intelligence center was located at Wright-Patt and had been active during World War II evaluating the aircraft technologies of foreign militaries.

EMERGING INTELLIGENCE

Project BLUE BOOK was also explored in the TV series “Project U.F.O.” that aired on NBC for two seasons in 1978 and 1979. Jack Webb of “Dragnet” created the series based on Project BLUE BOOK. He reportedly used real government documents to get ideas for the show.

And also airing on NBC, this time in 1996 and 1997, the TV series “Dark Skies” touched on Project BLUE BOOK too. Creators Bryce Zabel and Brent Friedman started out the series with a young congressional aide going to Project BLUE BOOK for his boss, a California congressman, to help determine if ongoing funding was valid. From there, the congressional aide is pulled into the secret group trying to coordinate the UFO situation.

Maybe the Disney studios are continuing the activity that certain high-ranking officials allegedly approached Walt Disney about in the ‘50s. Disney had been very active in the war effort during WWII and had a cooperative relationship with the Defense Department and government officials.

According to the late Ward Kimball, one of the original lead animators for Disney, Walt was approached about making a film on UFOs for the American public to explain that some UFOs were real spacecraft from elsewhere.

Including such a film in the ‘50s “Disneyland” TV show was reportedly considered for part of the “Tomorrowland” episodes about space travel and the future. Work was begun on the UFO film, but then discontinued, Kimball claimed.

Is “Tomorrowland” about the important UFO developments in 1952 that Walt Disney was involved in? Maybe. Maybe not. But audiences certainly seem to be ready to learn more about this unfolding and emerging story. Will “Tomorrowland” move the ball forward?

(Note: 1952 is also the year of the creation of U.S. Army Special Forces, evolving out of the WWII Office of Strategic Services.)

UFO security challenges affect human race

By Steve Hammons

Is it time for the general public in the U.S. and internationally to increase understanding and preparedness about UFOs and extraterrestrial activities affecting Earth and human civilization?

Absolute secrecy on this topic seems to be transforming into the sharing of information and knowledge about extraterrestrial spacecraft and the intelligent beings involved.

From Brazil to Belgium, from Canada to China, and around our planet, more information is emerging that further educates and orients us about what could be going on. Fact-finding about UFOs continues to make significant progress, or so it seems. These efforts have probably led to better understanding about the situation.

People with backgrounds in defense and intelligence, scientists from different fields, researchers of various kinds, journalism and creative media professionals, school kids and those and those who’ve been around a while seem to be feeling that the UFO situation is something significant.

NEED TO KNOW, OR NOT KNOW

Here in the U.S., indications may ring true about ancient Native Americans in North America having also encountered UFOs and various kinds of unusual phenomena. This idea may help us feel grounded and rooted when thinking about extraterrestrial and/or inter-dimensional visitors zipping around the skies or on the ground, and doing mysterious things.

In the World War II era, the U.S. Army’s Interplanetary Phenomena Unit (IPU) investigated “foo fighters” and other reports of unusual flying objects.

In 1947, the Roswell crash allegedly triggered the creation of a top-secret group of scientists and defense leaders called Majestic-12.

And in 1952, the U.S. Air Force’s Project BLUE BOOK was launched from Wright-Patterson Air Force Base in southwestern Ohio.

The “need to know” secrecy and security concept that was in place during WWII continued as an accepted practice when dealing with certain sensitive topics. Yet, that concept is one that can be interpreted in various ways and includes the discretionary decisions by those within a “compartmented” circle of information and/or understanding.

The saying, “Don’t tell me what I don’t want to know” can also hit home.

Journalists and those in other areas of the media have explored the UFO phenomena with mixed success. Steven Spielberg’s classic films on the subject certainly seem to have transformed our viewpoints about several aspects of extraterrestrial encounters.

Many news media professionals have done a good job reporting on significant developments involving UFOs and the many interesting details about them. At times, these journalists may have even bumped into security restrictions or intelligence insights.

EMERGING HUMAN CONSCIOUSNESS

If we have learned anything from the experiences of researchers involved with Project STAR GATE (the U.S. government research program on human consciousness) it is that our awareness and perception can be quite robust and surprising. Our understanding about interesting phenomena can be both limited at times and deeply comprehensive at other times.

Many UFO cases and much of the extensive research into them clearly point to a situation that we would probably be wise to pay attention to. For those who are open-minded enough to honestly look at the credible and reliable evidence available, the implications seem to be significant.

What knowledge might friendly advanced civilizations share with us? Do they have the ability to help us in medical science, technologies of various kinds and deeper understanding of Nature and ourselves? Can they help us humans and other living things on Earth? Do they have insight about healing this planet?

What about the scenarios that warn about unfriendly groups of beings from elsewhere? Maybe it is intelligent to be concerned about and prepared for such a possibility.

How will different human cultures stay true to their roots and traditions if we find ourselves in a Universe of many intelligent beings and advanced civilizations, friendly or unfriendly? Humans on Earth may now be prepared to answer, or at least think about these kinds of questions.

Advances in the understanding of human consciousness can help us deal with everyday challenges and the bigger picture. That’s why it might be helpful to see what we can learn from Project STAR GATE research. The ideas of “transcendent warfare” and “transcendent power” are probably helpful. “Integrative perception” and “complementary cognition” may also be useful concepts when looking at human consciousness.

When it comes to Earth humans interacting with visitors from elsewhere, we will probably need all the resources and assets we can pull together. National security and global security will need to be addressed. Public health and safety are also very important concerns.

And, we may need to accept the fact that some elements of the situation will remain mysterious. That may just be the nature of things.

Roswell was ET crash, says ex-CIA officer – what’s been going on since 1947?

By Steve Hammons

Now that former CIA officer Chase Brandon has said publicly that the Roswell case was truly the crash of an extraterrestrial craft, the next big question for interested Americans and others internationally seems to be “What has happened in the 65 years since this incident?”

It’s probably fair to say that the Roswell case is the tip of the iceberg. What else has gone on since the summer of 1947? What have we discovered? What are important factors to consider?

There has been a robust amount of curiosity and inquiry over the years by various researchers, journalists, creative media producers and others. For most of us though, the answer is that we don’t really know what’s been discovered or what might be going on. Yet, we can probably make some educated guesses.

The Roswell case itself is probably the easiest to figure out in general terms due to the amount of research and disclosure about it. There are possible or probable scenarios based on various research and reports.

According to these reports, the craft and bodies were gathered up from the property where rancher and cowboy Mac Brazel found the crash debris field. The craft and deceased bodies were flown to Wright Field in Dayton, Ohio, (now Wright-Patterson Air Force Base) for examination at the foreign technology evaluation center there under tight security and secrecy, including a cover story given to the press.

EXHANGE PROGRAM

Some researchers claim that one of the four “extraterrestrial biological entities (EBEs)” was alive. It was given medical attention and held in a secure area. Efforts were made to communicate with this being to learn more.

According to some reports based on open-source information available, communication eventually was established with “EBE-1” with the help of linguistic experts and we learned much about the “Eben” planet and activities. Some accounts say we were eventually able to establish communication with EBE-1’s people using technology aboard the crashed spacecraft and with the help of EBE-1.

In the following years, we learned more about the technology of the craft, the science of space travel and other helpful information.

And then there is the related story that is even more amazing: By the early ‘60s, the idea of an exchange program between Americans and Ebens was underway and a highly-classified project was in motion. Open-source reports have said this operation was called Project CRYSTAL KNIGHT.

Allegedly, in 1965, at a secure location in the American Southwest, 12 specially-selected and highly-trained U.S. military personnel boarded an Eben spacecraft with tons of supplies and equipment for a proposed 10-year stay on the Eben planet. At least that is the story.

The mission actually ended up lasting more than 12 years and the U.S. team returned to Earth in 1978. However, only eight of the personnel returned. Two reportedly passed on during the mission, one from a medical condition and one from injuries sustained in an accident. Two others chose to remain on the Eben planet. The program code name was reportedly changed to Project SERPO after the team members returned and were debriefed.

We learned a tremendous amount from the Ebens. We continue to have good relations with them and consider them friends and allies.

These are some of the perspectives and accounts out there. Whether these reports are true, partially true or inaccurate is challenging to determine.

ONGOING LEARNING

According to some reports, through learning from the Ebens and other intelligence-gathering, we established that there were several types of intelligent extraterrestrials visiting Earth. Not all are as friendly as the Ebens. Their agendas are different.

Over the past six decades, U.S., and probably international intelligence and scientific efforts may have been extensive, say some researchers. Defense contingency plans were developed. Operations were implemented to gather more information on an ongoing basis. Diplomatic efforts were also in play.

Some researchers say that we were able to acquire and understand much about the advanced technology used by the Ebens and probably other types of visitors. Certain technology acquired this way has been integrated into U.S. aerospace community, particularly in the defense area, as well as other fields, it has been alleged.

In addition to the fairly concrete and straightforward information-gathering about the Ebens and others, as well as their technology, we learned about various solar systems and planets. Importantly, we acquired new perspectives on the nature of the Universe, hidden dimensions, advanced physics, the nature of time and space, human consciousness and human development.

And, visitation to Earth by other intelligent beings may have been going on long before 1947 – possibly for many centuries and even in ancient times and in the far distant past, according to some theories.

As early as the ‘50s and ‘60s, it was determined that, at some point, the American public needed to get acclimated and prepared for this new knowledge about extraterrestrials. Walt Disney himself was approached to develop a film, and work on that project was started but then discontinued. It has been claimed that other efforts to gradually and safely prepare us for this knowledge were implemented.

Public safety concerns were also considered to be significant. The firefighter training manual “Fire Officer’s Guide to Disaster Control” is probably one of the best-known resources for public safety officials to prepare for UFO-related incidents.

Along the way, many other situations and sightings involving UFOs have occurred, sometimes with extensive news media coverage. Some journalists demonstrated more insight in covering these topics while others were reluctant to tackle these admittedly sensitive subjects, for various reasons

There is still much we do not know or do not fully understand at this time.

According to some research, elements of our defense, intelligence and scientific communities have tried to handle the situation in a reasonable manner. There may have been mistakes and missteps along the way.

We may wonder if, at this point in time, July 2012, the American and international public is much more prepared psychologically, emotionally and spiritually to deal with some of these developments. What about our defense and public safety preparedness?

These are some of the seemingly valid questions that we can again ask ourselves in light of the reports about Chase Brandon’s recent comments. And, all of us may be able to help answer these questions.
